ANDERSON COUNTY, SC — Mainstay Fuel Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has completed the consolidation of its operations into a 60,000 square foot facility located in Piedmont, SC, along the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte. Conveniently sited halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte, the plant is within 1-2 hours of the OE’s primary heavy duty truck production facilities.
As part of the consolidation, Mainstay has also significantly expanded capacity with the buildout of a new assembly line to produce its back-of-cab and side-mounted CNG fuel systems.
“The consolidation into one facility and the expansion of our production capacity supports our business plan and will enable us to better
serve the growing demand for our products in various heavy duty truck markets,” said Rod Grandy, Mainstay’s CEO.
Mainstay Fuel Technologies, Inc. designs, engineers and manufactures critical components used in vehicular CNG-powered fuel systems. The Company designs, engineers and produces fuel management modules (FMM) for many on-vehicular CNG delivery systems. The FMM regulates the intake, storage and delivery of natural gas in these systems and plays a critical role supporting tank storage and engine performance. Mainstay also designs, engineers and manufactures complete CNG fuel delivery systems for many Class 8 tractor models.
